1. General provisions
We’ll do everything we can to satisfy you as our customer. That’s our main objective. But, to be sure, there must be some rules applied! That’s why, by purchasing from us, you confirm and agree with these terms and conditions listed bellow.
2. Ordered goods and services
By ordering goods from us, a purchase contract is established between us. The subject is the goods listed in your order. The product specifications listed on our e-shop are mostly taken from manufacturers’ materials – that’s why we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. If you have any questions or comments – do not hesitate to contact us (call or write to us). We will be happy to answer any of your questions!
We promise that we deliver goods in perfect working condition, whether they’re new or used (especially old Polaroid cameras and old classic film cameras). Our goods come with an instruction manual, are carefully tested and guaranteed that they work properly. If this is not the case with our products, there will always be something written on its product description on our e-shop.
By ordering from us, it’s important to fill out all requested information. A purchase agreement is created between you and us by sending and submitting an order request. In this case, however, we may terminate the agreement in the case that the item for some reason isn’t in stock and we cannot get it under the same conditions (same price, delivery date, etc.). We will give you a call and let you know if this happens! In the case of delivered goods without the VAT numbered, a separate system in accordance to paragraph 90 of Act No. 236/2004 on VAT is amended. This applies especially to used cameras.
3. Order confirmation
We will see your order right away in our system – and we will send it or prepare it to be picked up as soon as we are able to. Usually this takes up to two days, but if this is not the case, do not worry – we won’t forget about you. We will be sure to let you know in a timely matter if your order has any problem or change of status. You’ll get an automated email stating that we received your order. We will also email you when your order will be ready to pick up, or once we sent your order. If you don’t receive an email, don’t hesitate to contact us.
4. Cancelled orders
When necessary, you can cancel your order within 24 hours by mail or by calling us. Just state your name, email, order number and information regarding which items you want to cancel.
5. Mail service and packaging
We send our orders by the Czech Post or DPD Courier. We send the order once we receive a payment (with the help of an online payment or through PayPal), or we can send it to you by cash on delivery. You also can pick it up at our Prague store (Polagraph, Husinecká 14, Prague 3) during our open business hours and after receiving an email or phone call confirming that your order is ready for pick-up. The buyer is obliged to take over the ordered goods and pay for it. For the case of ordered online items, one can view the confirmed paid receipt when signing in on our e-shop.
The cost of shipping is 100,- Kč (Czech Post, delivered within the Czech Republic), 150,- Kč (DPD, delivered within the Czech Republic) or 290,- Kč (Czech Post, delivered within the EU).
6. Delivery times
We try to ship what we have in stock as fast as possible – that’s why we promise to send it to you as soon as we can. The delivery time usually takes within 2-4 days and sometimes within a week. We will contact you right away in the case that we don’t have an item in stock – we’ll be sure to find the best possible solution for you!
7. Exchanging or returning items
If necessary, we will exchange your unused and unbroken items. Just send us your item back with a paid delivery (not cash on delivery) to our address (PolaroidLove, Michael Čáp, Nad kapličkou 16, Prague 10, 100 00).
The buyer is responsible for the cost of delivery for exchanges. Please include your order number and information regarding what you want exactly you want us to do. Returns or exchanges can be made up to 14 days after your order. You can do this under the circumstances that your items are intact and unused in the original packaging and with a copy of the receipt. We will return the payment through a bank account transfer.
8. Returning broken items and warranty
We will create an individual agreement and with compliance by law for any complaints regarding items. The buyer is responsible to check ordered items for any damage and defects. If any damage is found, the buyer is obliged to let our company know about it. We are not liable for any damage caused by the delivery carrier.
All of our new items have a warranty of 24 months unless otherwise stated. The warranty only covers manufactured defects. The 24-month warranty does not cover bought used items. Used items have a 6-month warranty unless otherwise stated.
Warranty not included on:
a) defects resulting from use
b) defects from using items incorrectly
c) defects from storing items incorrectly
Instructions for redeeming warranty:
1) Inform us about your return by phone, email or writing.
2) Send us the item with a paid delivery (not cash on delivery) to our address.
3) Include a written reason for returning the item, your address and the order number.
4) Include the receipt of your ordered item from our store.
We’ll take care of your claim as quickly as possible within 30 days from your submission and after receiving your delivered item.
9. Loyalty program
When registering with us, you’ll receive points for our loyalty program after each purchase. When you reach a certain number of points, you can receive a discount that’s stated in our loyalty program’s terms and conditions. The discount can be used towards all of our items and is firmly bound to the username and email registered. The discount is non-transferable and cannot be returned in cash. We claim the right to change or cancel the loyalty program without notice. The discount is not enforceable.
10. Other provisions
The prices on our e-shop include tax and do not include the delivery fee. We accept credit cards, cash when picking it up from our store, PayPal or cash on delivery. There is no extra fee for any payment method used.
The photos on our e-shop may be shown for illustrative purposes and may not show the particular item being sold accurately. The status may especially vary for used items. Our used items are always fully functional and may have physical signs of use, which cannot be used as an excuse for returns.
By registering on our e-shop, you agree that your personal information under the Personal Data Protection Act will be used to fulfill the subject matter of your contract. From time to time, we send our registered users emails with store promotions. The buyer can send us an email requesting to unsubscribe from these emails.
11. Electronic sales records
Under the Sales Records Act, the seller is required to issue a receipt to the buyer. At the same time, the seller is required to register the received revenue with a tax administrator online; if there are technical issues, then within 48 hours.
We are eco friendly! And that’s why you’ll find your electronic receipt on your invoice, so we don’t have to print it twice. For online orders that are then delivered to you, you’ll find your receipt with the Electronic Sales Record code in your email, right when we send it. If you happen to pick up your order at our Polograph store, you can choose to have your receipt printed or sent to you by mail.
